1.Assessments of physical impairments and dysfunction: understanding severity of  common side effects of mastectomy and lumpectomy, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
2.Treatment of common physical impairments: mastectomy  scar and adhesions, cording, seroma and lumpectomy scar tissue and Chemo-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy.
3.Practical sessions with  breast cancer survivors.
4.Timeframes, recovery goals and need for multidisciplinary care/ referrals

​This workshop will suit  health professionals from many backgrounds.
Health professionals who assist in the rehabilitation / recovery of breast cancer survivors  will benefit from  understanding  more about upper body impairments and dysfunction. A range of  hands on and non hands on assessments will be presented.  Viewing and practicing treatment skills  at the workshop will assist you to evaluate  how you apply impairment practices within your scope of practice
